Este fin de semana celebramos la Solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo (Corpus Christi). Celebramos ese gran regalo que Jesús nos dejó en la Última Cena. Fortalecemos nuestra fe en que la Sagrada Eucaristía es verdaderamente el Cuerpo y la Sangre, el Alma y la Divinidad de Cristo. Es el sacerdote quien consagra el pan y el vino en este maravilloso don. Actúa en la persona de Cristo. “Es el mismo sacerdote, Cristo Jesús, cuya sagrada persona representa verdaderamente su ministro. La Santísima Eucaristía es verdaderamente el Cuerpo, la Sangre, el alma y la divinidad de Jesucristo. La solemnidad de hoy, llamada Corpus Christi, pone de relieve el gran misterio de la fe: Jesucristo, Nuestro Señor, la noche antes de morir, nos dejó su verdadero Cuerpo y Sangre para comer y beber hasta que Él regrese.
