Terminemos nuestra reflexión sobre el Padre Nuestro con la petición final: “No nos dejes caer en tentación, mas líbranos del mal”. Alguien preguntó una vez por qué tendríamos que pedirle a Dios que no nos lleve a la tentación como si Él pudiera hacerlo. Dios no nos va a llevar a la tentación. Es como decirle a alguien: “No dejes que olvide las llaves”. Como si nuestro amigo quisiera dejarnos olvidar las llaves. (Todas las comparaciones son flojas). El Papa Benedicto dijo: Pedimos a Dios nuestro Padre que no nos deje solos y en el poder de la tentación. Pedimos al Espíritu Santo que nos ayude a saber discernir, por un lado, entre ser tentados y consentir en la tentación. Esta petición nos une a Jesús, que venció su tentación con su oración.
